Towards the latter half of 2007, Starchaser Industries successfully completed and
delivered a €150,000 ESA contract entitled 'Study of European Privately-Funded
Vehicles for Commercial Human Space Flight' which was part of an ESA initiative to
identify European space tourism ventures, evaluate their feasibility, and assess their
associated technologies.
Starchaser's work upon the contract gave rise to a number of useful documents, which
has helped refine the Starchaser business plan and technical roadmap that will enable
the company to progress towards its first commercial space tourism launch.

Following the reinstatement of Salford University's Space Technology Laboratory
(it was moved from the Maxwell building to the Newton Building) Starchaser presence
at the University has increased significantly, thus providing new and exciting
space related opportunities for Computing, Science and Engineering students.

Starchaser is pleased to report significant progress on a number of fronts over the
past weeks, from work on a turbo pump for liquid rocket engines, to further development
of the 'large hybrid' project, to finishing touches to the new Starchaser premises.

Starchaser's educational outreach, space4schools, has launched new products
to add to its ever expanding range of offerings. These include a Stardome planetarium
enabling children to view the night sky from the comfort of their school, and
two Science Quests consisting of a selection of fun packed educational experiences.

Starchaser engineers are currently working on manufacturing techniques towards the
development of 'large' HTPB fuelled rocket engines and motors. Recent successes
include the creation of a vacuum mixing plant, a bespoke thermostatically controlled
oven and all the necessary tooling to cast 1200mm long x 160mm diameter fuel grains.

We are pleased to announce that the last item of Starchaser property was removed from
our old factory as of close of play January 8. The offices at our new HQ are now fully
occupied and the Educational Outreach side of the business is operating nominally.
Works outstanding include the two laboratories and a 2nd storey meeting room which
will be completed by the end of the month. Further images of the new building fit
